Instagrammers hit the like button 4.2 billion times each day and 80% of users follow a business account on Instagram.
But is “being on Instagram” enough?
The answer is, no.
You’ve artistic posts and awesome captions on your Instagram account, but that doesn’t mean that they have to stay there.
Why not get some added benefits from the time & energy you’re putting into creating your Instagram posts?
Why not take your Instagram content somewhere beyond the Instagram app?
If you’re already using Instagram as a platform to promote your business, why not embed your feed to your website?
The content is already there, it doesn’t cost a penny and dramatically increases the content’s reach.
In this post, we’ll show you one solid way to embed your Instagram feed to your website.
But, before that, we want to tell you the benefits of doing it.(Yes, there’s more to embedding Instagram feeds than just beautifying the aesthetics of your website!)
Why You Should Embed an Instagram Feed to Your Website?
1. Drives Engagement on Instagram
If you’ve got a business account on Instagram, you know how difficult it is to grow organically because you’re competing with millions and millions of accounts.
Even if you’ve thousands of followers on Instagram, there are always many more potential followers that are visiting your website every day.
When you embed an Instagram feed on your website, people who’re on Instagram(obviously) can engage with it from your website.
When your visitors are browsing through your website, they get a glimpse into your creative side, and they may be prompted to follow your brand on IG (if they aren’t already!).
They might leave a comment on your posts, they might share your post, and bring more and more users to it.
That means, you get additional exposure, likes, comments, and follows without any extra effort!
…and the more the engagement on your posts, the more people will see them on their feeds! (Instagram’s Algorithm)
2. Boosts Engagement on Website
Without a doubt, Instagram feeds increase the time spent on your website.
We’re very well aware that images and videos convey stories far more strongly than written text.
If you embed your Instagram feed to your website, the stream of fresh and automatically updated pictures and videos will keep your website fresh.
Your latest marketing campaigns will be instantly visible on your website, and you won’t have to go through the pain of updating the content.
…and the more relevant and up-to-date the content on your website is, the longer your visitors will stay hooked!

Embed an Instagram Feed to Your Website In 8 Easy Steps
1. Once you’ve downloaded elink’s extension, login to your Instagram account on your browser. Now, all you’ve to do is open the post that you want to show up on your website and click on the blue elink icon in your bookmark bar. (You can also right-click and choose ‘save this page’.)
2. After you click on the blue elink, you’ll get the option of choosing an image that best represents your content. Most probably, you’ll choose the one that you’ve added in your Instagram post, but having other options isn’t always a bad thing, is it?
3. Now that you’ve chosen the image that you want to use, click on ‘add to post’. (You can also click on the pencil icon to edit the title & description of the post.)
4. Once you click on add to post, a popup will appear. You can either select an existing post or create a new one. After that, click on the “+’ icon to add the link of your Instagram photo to the post you’ve just created.
Repeat these steps for all your Instagram posts that you want to show up on your website. You don’t have to repeat the fourth step though. Once you’ve created a post on elink, just click on the “+’ icon and your Instagram photo links will be added!
5. The fun part begins now! Go to elink.io. Click on ‘posts‘ and open the post where you’ve added all the links to your Instagram photos.
6. When you do that, you’ll be greeted with so many customization options! You can customize all aspects of your design including the header image, title, theme color, layout, etc.
Your main job though is to choose the layout. For that, click on the ‘Layouts‘ tab. Scroll and choose a layout you want your Instagram feed to appear in. Your content on the right-hand side will instantly change.
You’ll probably get overwhelmed with all the awesome layouts that are available and it might get a little difficult to choose the best one. Don’t worry, because you can switch between layout even after publishing and embedding your feed on your website! (Thank us later!)
7. Once you’re satisfied and happy with the design, all you need to do now is publish it. Click the ‘Publish‘ button that’s on the far right corner of your screen. You’ll see a popup in which you can customize your website URL. When you’ve customized the URL, hit publish again. Easy peasy!
